Digital Solutions Committee at The Cochin College, Kochi-2, is dedicated to advancing the technological infrastructure and digital capabilities of our institution. Established to manage and implement IT projects, the committee’s primary objective is to enhance the learning experience and administrative efficiency across the college.

Vision: To foster a technologically advanced educational environment that supports innovative teaching, learning, and administrative processes.

Mission: Our mission is to spearhead technological advancements and facilitate the seamless integration of digital tools and resources to benefit faculty, staff, and students.

Key Objectives:
Implement and maintain digital projects that cater to the specific needs of the college community.
Ensure IT infrastructure and systems are up-to-date, secure, and reliable.
Organize training programs to equip faculty and students with necessary digital skills.
Collaborate with various departments to understand and address their technological requirements.
Explore innovative technologies and propose ideas for continuous improvement of the college’s IT ecosystem.

DutyBase: A system for allotting examination duties to teachers.
Internal Assessment Form Templates: Google Sheets templates for internal assessment marks.

Maintenance Reporting System: A platform for reporting and managing maintenance activities.

G-Suite and Edspace Data Collection: Streamlining data collection and creating institutional email accounts for students.

Cubicle: A software for randomizing student seating positions during exams.

Edspace LMS: A Moodle-based platform for hybrid courses.

QP Archive: An online repository of previous year question papers.

Paperless AQAR Framework: A system for collecting and managing data for the Annual Quality Assurance Report.

Duty Certificate Archive: An archive for storing faculty duty certificates.

Website Data Collection: Collecting and updating data for the college website.

Programme Intimation Forms: Keeping records of various college activities and programs.

Passport: A common system to keep track of students’ pass percentage and progression.

The committee also organizes the Techquip series, hands-on training programs for teachers and students, focusing on various e-resources and effective use of institutional email accounts.
